    Unused cloth promotional backstage pass for the 1988 VAN HALEN MONSTERS OF ROCK Tour. This was the band's eighth world tour and the most adventurous to date. From 5/27/88 to 7/30/88, VAN HALEN toured the country with four other acts in a massive outdoor-only, special stadium tour. Announced at Universal Studios in Universal City, CA, the MONSTERS OF ROCK TOUR was to be the first traveling festival of its kind in the United States. Each nearly 10-hour show kicked off with KINGDOM COME, followed by METALLICA, DOKKEN, the SCORPIONS and ending with VAN HALEN. On 9/30/88, the band then embarked on their headlining OU812 TOUR. This promotional pass was printed for the performance at the Akron Rubber Bowl on June 22 & 23, 1988. Measures 3 1/4" square. Mint condition. GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC.
