Unit is prime for the stereo compressor modifications you’ve probably seen. This one had a bit of work done already and took it half way there, just needs to be taken over the finish line. This is the sought after and super rare stereo version so grab it now while it is available.
Unit passes audio with slight issue on one side. Prime unit for the full Volumaxx hotrod conversion.
Just came back from Tech but apparently couldn’t (did’t bother to) find some potentiometer it supposedly needed to fix the the top which was giving him trouble, so he just gave it back (after having it for three years on his shelf…?!?!). This project was Extremely frustrating for me in the end so I moved on to other things. These come up for sale only once every few years and I waited years till I found this one myself.
If you’re looking you know what this is and have probably seen the pages of incredible stereo compressors people have made from them.
I paid about 2k six years ago so it’s back up for sale again, this time it at least has one side up and working and Neutrik pigtails have been added. Passes audio. Extremely rare, desirable and hard to find. Mono units are super rare and this stereo version even more so.
